He not only was HIV positive, but his condition had progressed to AIDS. That was evident by all of the complications that he had that were found on autopsy.

Because the shard of glass that cut her had the dead guys blood on it and when the ME told her he had HIV she went and got checked because of the transfer his blood to hers. Anybody think she will end up getting HIV?
