Technically speaking peace means 'the state of living in friendship with without arguing'.
But according to me peace means self satisfaction and harmony in the soul of a individual. If the inner self of a person is not humble then the person can never live in peace.
By birth every individual has envy, hatred etc .But the thing is that how much it grows if a person gets angry at every thing the there is something which is irritatingthe person from inside and so it is showing on his outer persanality and so the person has not achieved complete peaceInner contentment, serenity. Absence of war or other hostilities. Freedom from quarrels and other disagreements. Harmonious relations. Security and order. A smooth, soft, comfortable atmosphere can be physical of physiological
At last what we can say is that peace is not something which is not only present around us but also something which is within us!

Peace is perfect contentment. Peace is not needing to know everything. Peace is walking among turmoil still able to maintain a compassionate heart. Peace may sometimes require leaving things unsettled until others come to a greater understanding. Peace is desired by all and can only be acquired through faith...not just faith in God but faith in those who have the resources to work toward peace in this world.

Peace is a concept,a feeling when there is no conflict b/w heart n mind....a man comes into physical existence in this world with heart and mind...peace is a feeling which come from deep inside the heart...only when the heart wins over the battle of mind then the person experiences true peace....

Peace is a result of the existence of ''war''.
Our world is one of paradoxes, you can claim the existence of a word,a notion, without recognizing its very opposite,so that when you add them together, you get life.
Life is wars and peaces, bad people and good people, heaven and hell.

Depends.....if you are talking about society.
If this is for an individual then peace literally means that how someone is satisfied and he/she can have sleep without having dreams of unfinished work.

The absense of conflict. An analogy is music. Conflict is noise, peace is harmony.

Accept every other human being as he is and how he is!
Others may be different, but that doesnot mean, they are bad and you are good.
"Live and let live policy," (a very wise one,) which is forgotten these days, is Peace.
