Once i have updated to SP2, how can i check to make sure it's ready for the daylight savings time change?

Down load the program tzedit.exe from Microsoft. Use it to set daylight saving to begin on the 2nd Sunday in March and end on the 1st Sunday in November. This should work for Windows 95 thru XP.

Right click on the time icon in your system tray, then select
Adjust Date/Time, which will open the Date & Time Properties. Make sure everything shown is correct (month, day, year, time), then click on Time Zone and make sure your time zone is selected (Central, Eastern, Pacific, etc.), then make sure there is a check mark in the lower box that says "automatically adjust for daylight savings time." That's it. Close the box and your time is set.
