I sat around at home with nothing to do, then one of my sisters called my to say she got engaged. I then called my other two sisters: one was sitting at the dinner table with her husband and 3 year-old and the other at an art gallery with her boyfriend. I just relized how different everything was and that I was just me, at home, like I've always been. I spent most of the evening crying and reminiscing....
So tell me how your Valentine's day went?

Ours was nice this year. We were going to get a babysitter but my oldest was sad and said she wanted to spend it with us. She's 6. So we decided that we'll have many Valentine's for ourselves in the future when the kids grow up and decided to take advantage of this precious time with our 4 and 6 year old.

So after school we blew up some balloons for them. We all exchanged cards, my daughter brought some crafts from school that she made for us. We bought the kids a gift so they opened that. My hubby and I said that this year we'll skip buying for each other but then he walked out with a red gift bag with a rose sticking out of it. My heart just dropped because I seriously had NOTHING for him. LOL He got me a bottle of perfume which I've wanted for like 3 months now. Very sweet of him to do.

Then we ordered in Chinese, had a nice dinner. Had a Valentine cupcake which I baked in the morning and at 7pm we got the kids ready for bed and then us two adults started our night. ;) LOL

It was a great time and I'm glad we didn't get a sitter!!

Sorry to hear about your night!

Same as usual. But to make it special I wore my hear necklace, red ring and tied a red ribbon on my hair. But I didn't get anything for valentine altho i saw many ppl carrying roses and choco boxes.

Went home and chatted online with a dude from class and he asked who's my valentine. I made up stories about having a boyfriend outside school and it was really funny. He seemed shocked coz I'm not the popular kind of girl at school.

February 14. that's a Wednesday this year. Asking her out on Valentines day would desire to prove splendidly or horribly, in keeping with how she solutions you. the two candies or a pink rose are severe-high quality presents.

Well what could I say it was great, I didn't really expect to get anything, and I brought heart lollypops to school for friends. I got a red rose from a friend named Remi, a crystal rose from my friend David, a chocolate heart box from my best friend Dulce, a little bag with candies from my friend Brenda, a love note from my friend John, and the best part of all what my boyfriend did.

After work he came 2 my house around 9, brought me a small mariachi, took me to dinner, a cute monkey with roses, and a necklace with a heart that says I LOVE YOU, he has one half I have the other half of the heart. Everything was just awesome and really sweet.

I had the day off from work and had nothing to do. I just stayed home bored and lonely. I didn’t cry, but almost did. Everyone I know had something to do with someone. I didn’t. :(

Poor you! I went out with my girlfriend, got something to eat, had a fun night overall. You'll find the perfect person eventually. Keep your chin up!
