Mine was the best ever! It was my husband and I's first valentines day as a married couple. He wrote I love you in shaving cream on the shower wall and there was rose petals and lit candles floating in the water. When I went into the kitchen there was a dozen roses on the table, a poem he had written me, chocolate heart candies spread out everywhere, a white teddy bear w/a shirt on that said princess, and 'I love you' spelled out in cheerios. Then when i got to work there was a card and a single rose on my desk. Last night he took me to eat dinner at Ruby Tuesday because it was the only place that didn't have a 2 hour wait. When we got home, the house had been totally cleaned and there was a bag on the table with more presents! It was a sudoku book (i love sudoku), the new Chris Daughtry CD, a nice gel pen, a cute notebook for work, and a book. He really went all out! I gotta give him his props! Our one year anniversary is in a few weeks, I don't see how he can top Valentines day. Lol!

I had a great valentines. I am a single mom so my nine year old daughter is my valentines. I went to lunch with her at school and we got a picture made. She made me a picture arrangement with a shoe box, feathers and construction paper. She gave me a card she made and some candy she got from school. We spent the evening painting each others nails and watching TV. I couldn't of asked for a better valentines day!

The pressure to respond with the proper emotions was grueling. Among the people I see, a lot of hearts are broken. I am glad you enjoyed it though because that makes the day worth celebrating.
Hang on to the things that made it special. They are so important.
