Go to the technical support...they'll help you. Just look up how you can use your iPod as an external harddrive. I did it with mine, but I had to get my brother to figure it out. Thousands of songs and about 10 gigs of video transferred in about 20 minutes.
Very nice.

You can only sync your iPod with one iTunes, as you've seen. The only other option is to take what you want from the one computer and burn it on a cd-r and then transfer those files into the one computer (call it your main one or the ONE that you'll sync the iPod to). Then, when you sync, choose manual and you can select all the songs and videos you actually want on the iPod.

It's a drag because I'm like you: my files were all across my home mac and my work mac (I've been here over 10 years, it feels like home) and when they updated iTunes, I "lost" all my home stuff and had to bring it in to put on the work one. : (
Good luck!

I dont use Itunes to Buy Downloads for My Ipod . I have a 30gb . I use another website which saves me a lot of money . You cant transfer two different Libraries to the same Ipod . You can only keep one . Thats the problem with Itunes .

you can't, unless you get special software, an iPod by itself can only be linked to one iTunes library. If you want to merge the libraries, you will have to copy one to a CD then transfer it to the other iTunes library.

From the 2nd computer, just unistall itunes, reinstall and change from auto zinc to manual... Create a folder with diff. title and import it to itunes, then transfer to ipod as another playlist...
Hope you understand my instructions because i'm not that good at giving 'em.

Ask Apple's tech support what to do. They are the ones that made this mess, they should get you out of it.
