...can a woman go on hating her ex and not wanting to even speak with him about the child issues. She is deeply involved with boyfriend and it would appear that she would be happy and this would spill into all aspects of her life - including dealing with ex about child issues. Instead, anger, hatred, denial and refusing to communicate even for the simplest matters, attempts at custody demanding little time (4 days a month) of son with father when there are no grounds and son and father spend many days a month together, extended weekends, father drops son off at school Mondays and Thursdays, and a dinner night in between. Is this just a control game? Is this lack of concern for the father and son? Mother will not allow meeting with boyfriend between him and concerned father - who is this man who is disturbing son? Why is son disturbed? Question asked of son, "if your father was not around is there anything about this man that you could consider as a good role model?" "NO!" he replied.

Have the father call Social Services and see what can be done about the 'disturbed' son.

A person marries a SELFISH girl divorces them and is suprized they still act like a selfish girl.

Why hate her, be thankful for every day you're not with her.

You just need to calm down, you are lucky as you are free from this selfish B. Now your son has the burdon of dealing with his mother mostly on his own. You just ned to be a MAN and do what you can to be a good example to your son. But you can't free him from her -- on that note you managed to escape.

The worst guilt I deal with in life is that I have two daughters that turned into the same selfish useless messed up wreaks there mother is while I managed to be able to go out get a new life which is full of real love a new family and the best this nation has to offer. It's a pity that a selfish women gets the legal right to be a bad parent when a better one exists, but that is the way we are as a nation -- protect mommys and take care of them and F the kids.

Did she not want the separation? That sounds like the problem. You might have to go thru the courts to get what you want. Especially since it seems that she has something to hide with the new BF. If she didn't have anything to hide, ex meeting him would not be a problem. How old is the son? Maybe that can be grounds to go thru the courts to get what you want. Concern that the new BF has changed his behavior, fear of abuse, neglect.

If this lady does not seem to cooperate and is adamant on hating the father of his son for no other reason than her lovey-dovey, file a petition in the court on your son's behalf asking more time with his father.

If your a third party in this - the best thing to do is stay out it. It is between them - Some people never let go of the past - and yes it is a control issue.

she is either unhappy about the divorce, and didn't want it, or her life is unhappy and her ex's isn't, and she wants to make him just as miserable as she is. perhaps the new man in her life is controlling her, and runs the show and maybe he is the one feeling insecure and wants to limit the father's time with the son.
