Several. Watch the film "Braveheart".
William Wallace did not sleep with the queen of France, that was just stupid.
King Stephen of Ireland did not fight with Wallace, the Irish did not get involved with him.
William Wallace fled the battlefield at Falkirk, leaving his men to be slaughtered.
The Scottish "army" adopted a scorched earth policy. Wallace burned his own country and went into hiding before his eventual capture.
King Edward I died two years after Wallace's execution in 1307.
Robert the Bruce did not pick up the banner that successfully so quickly. The film did get his dithering right but Wallace was executed in 1305 and Bannockburn was fought in 1314. It was Robert the Bruce and not William Wallace who invaded England in the aftermath of 1314.

That the White House got that name because it was painted white to cover up the burn marks after the British occupation of Washington during the War of 1812.

In the war with Mexico, the US was the aggressor, not the other way around. It was instigated by the president as an excuse to take over California.

That during the Battle of the Bulge in WWII, Patton's 3rd Army 'rescued' the surrounded 101st Airborne division defending Bastogne. No member of the 101st ever remembered needing to be 'rescued'. They were paratroopers, they're supposed to be surrounded.

The most common mistake people make is believing what is written in history books. History is written by the victors of wars, and what they do not like is usually hidden or destroyed.
