Im so hungry and thirsty but I dont want to eat or drink anything if I have to fast before I go.....I know that you have to fast before you get your blood checked for cholosterol and other things but im not sure about testing for pregnancy.....

you don't have to fast if you are going for the blood test to find out if you are pregnant. If you know you are pregnant and are going for the glucose test, fasting is a good idea.

No you do not. This test is for a hormone, fasting will have no effect on the level in your blood. Cholesterol, glucose, things like that are directly affected by what you eat and when. Fasting is necessary in these tests to obtain an accurate picture of your health. Hope that helps. (Go grab a bit to eat.)

No. You will only have to fast if you are getting a blood glucose test or a thyroid test. You can eat up all you want. Good luck,
