Why is humid air hotter than air with low humidity?

in simple terms i would like to know why humid air is hotter than air with low humidity

It's not.

Hot/low humidity - you sweat, the moisture goes from your skin into the air, you feel cooler

Hot/high humidity - you sweat, less moisture goes from your skin into the air because there is already a lot of moisture in the air, you do not cool down

Thus Hot/high humidity is not hotter, you are just less able to cool yourself down.

There is not a lot of difference but when the air is loaded with moisture,humidity, then your body sweat cannot be absorbed or dissipated by it so easily. This means that your sweat does not itself turn to humidity and so it stays on your face or body etc. and therefore you run with sweat. When the air is dry with little humidity you are still sweating but it gets absorbed into the dry air easier and when the air is moved say by a fan or a breeze you feel cooler because once again the air is moving across your face or body and taking the sweat with it.

Its not. Unidity is the maount of water vapour in the air expressed as a percentage against the maximum air of that temperature could hold. You get 100% humidity in cool air and very dry, low humidity hot air in deserts. (and the high humidity hot air of the tropics and low humidity cold air of the tundra)

because when its humid its just hot steam rising from the ground and the the lower humidity comes from the sun
