Predators? Should we? Or should we blame the parents and not protect them in society?

I know most predators are cunning and manipulative.
But just if this was proven. Let us say half the children are lot less of a target. if you need a real case.

Predators were there LONG before Television. So censoring violence to protect from predators is kind of pointless. However, I do believe it should be somewhat controlled what is on television during family time, etc.. to protect the kids from watching it. But....that is more the responsibility of the parent than the network.
Also, as a parent I can't say as I want to watch a sexually explicit or violent tv show containing children. So it would be in the networks best financial interest ultimately to censor this material. Nearly all parents agree with this.
Ultimately we need to blame the predators for the crimes. The parents for not censoring their childrens activities. But just because something is on TV doesn't give the predator the right to recreate the show!

Censoring the networks will have absolutely no impact on child predators. These are sick individuals, who do not need to watch the news to get ideas or inspire them to commit crimes.

I do believe, however, that the sensationalization of these crimes should be stopped...our psyches are damaged enough...we don't need to know every little detail of what some sick pedaphile did to a child! Out of respect for the child's privacy...we should demand that details of crimes be taken out of the content for the nightly news, or any other television program. I don't believe in censorship, but I think that stations need to be told...by their viewers...that they are sick from all the sensationalism.
