The games may look great on a PS3, but if you want to enjoy the games you are playing, buy a Nintendo Wii instead.

Just my 2 cents on this....

not significantly, but you will notice smaller details and brighter colors. its not like its night and day like some people would like you to believe. well actually Yes actually the cable will make quite a diffrence. I just hope that you live at home with your parents and have no bills to pay or that you are quite wealthy...lol! The Playstation 3 alone is expensive enough, then when you get into buying all the accessories you're looking at about $900!!!! (Playstation...$600+ tax, games...$60+ tax each, extra controller...$40+ tax, HDMI cable...$50 - $119 at Radio Shack etc.) Also is your tv an older one??? I have an older big screen hdtv, I had a hell of a time hooking it up for hd!!!! I had to buy a special cable that is HDMI to DVI. Then I was trying to change the configurations on the playstation and I kept getting a blank screen!!!! I had to change the settings on one channel then hurry and change it to the other. I know it probably makes no sense to you, but I'm just letting you know that with an older tv it can be very difficult!!! I actually called Sony and they told me it probably wouldn't work, but because I wouldn't give up (and all the bitching my man did!) I figured it out. Anyway long story short...lol...if you have an older tv you are not guarenteed to be able to use the high definition features, that's what I was told by Sony! Good Luck!
