I remember when I used to actually look forward to Lost coming on and discussing it with my friends. Now, I seem to watch it out of habit more then anything. The writers and creators of the show are introducing too many new questions and not answering enough of the old ones. Not to mention, the extremely long break between the last new episode and the current new ones didn't help. I was already losing interest and then they yank it off the air and cause me to forget what happend before the break. Thats how I feel about the show. How do you feel?

For the record, I do not Hate on Lost. I've enjoyed the show but since the beggining of this season my interest has begun to wane.

SPOILERS FOR SEASON 3

It's lost (no pun intended) some momentum, but it's still a fantastic show.

The three-month break wasn't a great idea, neither was killing off one of the most interesting characters (Eko) so quickly.

The show started at such a high level so quickly, that some momentum loss was inevitable. The "newness" is gone. "Heroes" is the hot, new show right now.

So, it's not fair to assume there's something wrong with the show just because it's no longer the hottest thing on the block.

HOWEVER...

To some extent, I agree they haven't answered enough questions, but the creepiness of the unknown is part of what makes the show so great. If anything, I think they may have revealed too much of the Others too soon. They've lost (there's that word again) some of their mystique and scariness.

I also think the show's format is hampering it somewhat. The flashbacks are starting to wear out their welcome, in my opinion. Also, centering an entire season around a central mystery (last season's hatches and Tailies and this season's Others) has made for some slow going. They need to shorten the arcs and resolve things quicker.

But it's still a fascinating show with great characters.

And JJ Abrams is the master of course correction. If he can step in and help the other two execs figure things out, the show should get better.

Lost is a wonderful show. I feel bad that so many people are hating on it now. You have to give it time...they are planning on answering some questions next episode. I like how they give a look into each person's life and maybe that is why people aren't staying interested in the show. Be patient. Good things will come!

harry - last nights episode was completely useless...they went through all of desmonds flashbacks (which I still don't even know what happened exactly when he turned the key) to just get to the fact that charlie is going to die??? it was terrible!!

they need to stop making up more questions and answer some that have been there since the show started!! i understand them wanting to keep the show on for as long as possible, but come on, the loss of audience is going to kill them!!

stop killing off people..and making up new questions and let me in on what the f is going on???!!!

I am still interested, next season will not be a break, it was kind of a mistake. Possibly the last season.

It kind of is but not really. I am waiting to find out more and they don't give you jack! HEROES on NBC has caught my attention and is a GREAT show that gives you answers each week. If LOST is pissing you off then check out HEROES (9pm on Mondays). You can get caught up with past episodes on NBC.com...
