I think women do- men buy the same stuff all the time, flowers and candy.... but the women go all out, new thongs, bubble baths, dinner, bla bla bla! I hate valentines day--- lots of ppl spend it alone and sad!

Men. I got my wife a day at a spa and I got a little box of chocolates. I always kid her that she gave stage two diabetes for Valentines Day.
The thing is, I don't need anything. There are no material things I am interested in and she has been stressed out big time lately. So really, for us anyway, it doesn't make any sense for her to go out of her way.

Men, of course. Women are hard to please and therefore require more expensive gifts. Give me a 4x4 quad cab diesel pickup, and I'm happy. Give here a $100,000 dollar diamond necklace in white gold, and she wants matching earrings. Go figure.
