I just got done reading 'The Order of the Phoenix' and I liked it.. I am about to start 'The Half Bolld Prince' and was wondering wot ur favourite book of HP was

My son and I love all of them...We feel each one gets better and we are sad to see the series end...We are hoping R K Rowling is working on another series so we don't feel it has ended...She is a marvelous writer...ENJOY

Order of the Phoenix is my favorite. It as the first book I read in over 20 years and I'm on my second reading of it right now. The Half Blood Prince was good but (I hope I'm not spoiling it for you) I didn't like what happened to Dumbledore at the end. The reading of it was great so don't get me wrong, I just didn't like the event.
JK Rowling is the best and she deserves all the money she's making for these books.
I already have my order in for the final book...CAN'T WAIT!

What a good Question!
My favourite Harry Potter Book is "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire". So much exciting adventure goes on in this book, everytime I read it I remember something new.
You have the world cup quidditch game, the tri wizard tournament, Madeye moody, the Yule Ball, and then that big fight with voldermort.
It has everything in this book.
It's definately the best.

Goblet of Fire was my favorite, followed by HBP. I didn't enjoy 5 nearly as much because I didn't like Umbridge and Harry was such a whiney brat in that book. My sister who is an avid reader likes Prisoner.... the best.
Alison K, I am surprised to hear that. Most people I have talked to who have read them agree that 1 and 2 are pedestrian by comparison, and the writing is MUCH better once you get past those two introductory stories. I feel that you can really see Rowling's growth as a writer through the series.

"Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," after all, it is the one that turned me on to the entire series. Without the first one, there would have been none of the others!!!!!!!!
