What makes you think that Republicans all think exactly alike? Do you categorize yourself that way? How do you define hatred? Some people think that hatred consists of someone disagreeing with them or having a different opinion. Why would valuing family make someone feel superior?
I think that perhaps someone has hurt or offended you and you are extrapolating that out to all Republicans.
It is not the case that all Republicans are hateful nor that when they answer it is filled with hate. It is not the case that valuing family makes a person feel superior. What you are forgetting is that Republicans are people just like you...and have values and opinions just like you and although some may not be so nice, you can't say that about all of them..that's called predjudice, and predjudice can be hateful as well.

Why are you singling out Republicans for your "hateful" accusation?
Try going to the Gay and Lesbian section sometime, and just for the fun of it, post an answer in which you oppose gay marriage.
Trust me, you'll be called every nasty and hateful name in the book. I know this because it's happened to me.
