JOURNAL.

An example would be "Journal of the American Medical Association". I am a graduate student in theology and most scholarly "magazines" I deal with have the word "journal" some where in their title. Right now I am reading one called New Theology Review- An American Catholic JOURNAL for Ministry.

you might want to call that an anthology, because it is a collection of literary works
