Try a littl bit of WD40 or lock & key oil.
DO NOT USE A FLAME!!!
Sounds like a Tumbler in the cylinder is jamed or sping is out of place. Trust me Dealery Machanics know the best way to take it all apart and switch out the Key Cylinder and you get a limited warrenty. Occasionly minor adjustments may be needed during the warrenty. It's worh it.

Get it towed to the Dealer and have them switch out the Ignition Cylinder and have them match the currant key or get 2 new keys which ever is cheaper.

If you have 1 key for the doors and igniting have them set it to match your current key.

Is it cold where you live? If so try heating the key with a lighter and insert it. If it is a warmer climate try spraying a lubricant in the ignition. These are the easy fixes. try this before replacing things. ( Use caution with the key/lighter thing. The heat transfers quickly)

The lock cylinder made have gone bad or frozen up.
Try spraying some WD-40 into it and try it again.
If that doesn't work, you will need a new cylinder.
