i just recently finished my first clomid cycle and progesterone injections. I feel some abdominal discomfort and have some spotting red brownish in color but very little. Should i go see my obs gyne? or is this normal with this treatment. My next period is only due in over a week.

also having severe hot flushes and i finished the tablets a while ago so im not sure what is the cause

The Clomid can cause hot flashes. I believe the progesterone can as well. I conceived on Clomid 3 times. After my first miscarriage, my OB gave me progesterone to take to help prevent miscarriage. I started with vaginal progesteron cream, but I didn't like it and so he switched me to oral pills. I have one healthy daughter and I am 10 weeks pregnant again. The spotting you are having could be implantation bleeding. The abdominal discomfort could also be associated with implantation. Implantation generally occurs about a week after ovulation/week before your period. It wouldn't hurt to call your OB and inform him/her about this, but honestly, I think you are fine. I would wait until your expected period and if you don't get it, take a pregnancy test. Best wishes.

i have read that this is normal.i will be taking clomid my next cycle
