How's your credit score? You can get a personal loan from www.Prosper.com within a 2 week period, you should get it if you have a FICO score of 600 or more. I lend money on there as well so feel free to post your loan request.
There's other various ways to get money without a loan...
1. Sell stuff on eBay (that you own).
2. Buy cheap tax deed land and re-sell for higher market value (quick flip, see book below).

Invest in Equity or Commodity Markets with proper guidence.. other wise you could lose your capital investment..
For Passive Investors, I prefer some good mutual funds..
