I'm spending 16 days in india with 3 days planned for mumbai and 2 days in agra to see the Taj Mahal. I'm going to use the Indrail pass to travel between spots and wondered where else I should travel and how long I should stay in a spot.

You should defintely try and get down to Goa. Its has beautiful beaches and a more laidback feel to it than the rest of India. It would be a good place to go towards the end of your holiday. I've also heard that Jaipur is well worth a visit but not sure if you can squeeze that trip in your itinerary.

There r many places like Gangtok, Goa, Ladhak and Assam etc, where u should go !!!!!!! The climate is nomal there !!!!
