I thought it was boring ... and too stereotypical for a love story.

I thought that Eva Mendes' character in "Hitch" was a nightmare, to the point where just seeing her face seriously detracted from my enjoyment of it (even though I'm sure she's not even close to being as annoying in reality).
Her character tries too hard to be hip (wearing the requisite how-musically inclined-am-I "Beatles" T-shirt) and detached, plays too hard-to-get (in a smarter movie, Hitch would have simply moved on to the next beautiful Manhattanite), acts like a spoiled child with her tantrums, and then pulls a stunt at the end in order to "win" her man back - when (SPOILER ALERT) there is no man to win back - he's already there!
Far fetched is exactly how I would tie up my opinion of this movie. However, it's my fiancé's favorite film, so I'll endure it…for him.

Hitch looked better on the trailer than it actually turned out to be, not one of Will Smith's most impressive movies (he he's a awesome actor). Just thought it was a little slow, maybe boring at times, but some really funny parts the funniest was when he was teaching that guy to dance just really funny cuz i'll be the first to admit white guys can't dance lol i refuse to take my husband to any clubs lol.

I liked it but I've also been a huge fan of Will Smith since the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. I thought the scene when Hitch is trying to teach Albert how to dance was hilarious!

Well, they can do anything they want in a movie and anything unthinkable is possible in a movie. Farfetched?.... Yes.... but let me ask you this.... how do you feel after watching a movie that has a bad ending?..... aka guy doesnt get girl or vice versa. Its the classic case of a fairytale that while it is not as common in our real life day to day, that is what we want to believe is possible and therefore that is what our movies are based on and what are movies hold to be possible.

It is enjoyable. I'm not sure I would really want to see it again. At least for a few more years. I really like Will Smith as an actor and this one was probably just a "get paid while having fun" picture for him.

Well I have to say I loved it. It was a movie....and for me watching a movie is a step away from life. One and half to two hours of entertainment. Something besides worrying about bills, relationships, etc.
I never have expectations when it comes to movies.....I either like them or I don't.
