46 Republican A deficit is no big deal - total debt is the thing. ALL government spending is always hostile to the economy Deficit and Debt are symptoms of A LOT of spending. An unsustainable debt guarantees de facto default via monetizing the debt - which we are already doing. This devalues existing money, effectively sucking value OUT of the economy The Federal government should simply stop CAUSING recessions. Stop voting for Democrats. For more than 100 years, each and every Democrat caucus has always voted to outspend their GOP peers by at least double and usually by 3-4 times.

I did and I have voted at every election for the past 21 years. I pride myself on keeping my mouth shut unless I vote on any issue.

How many would have the unmitigated gall
to spout on about politics and NOT have voted?
Unless there is some compelling reason why
you can't (i.e. you are a fellon and it is
illegal to do so, you are not a citizen, etc.),
you should probably keep quiet and hope that
nobody knows you're there...
Yes, I voted. You betcha.

Only Republicans vote. The others then just sit back and whinge about how Bush only won because the voting was rigged, or some other excuse.

I always vote. I don't think that anyone who doesn't vote should be allowed to complain about politics at all.
