personally... I would goto the local junk yard and pull one off a wrecked t-bird... it would be so much cheaper.. than paying someone about 30 minutes to 1 hour labor.. plus the part...

call around and see if the local junk yards have one.. I would bet they have several for cheap.. it is just a few screws and your done... not sure what part of the country you are in.. but in NC.. the labor rates range from $88.00 at the local shops to about $120.00 at the dealerships... so it could be any price from $44.00 plus the part to the dealerships that have 1 hour labor even if it takes 2 minutes to do.. so $120.00 plus the part.. a junk yard.. about $15.00 to $35.00....

and you know.. forget about the socket.. get the whole taillight.. why mess with it if you dont have to.. you wont need a soder gun...just a screw driver..

get 1 out of the junk yard.just go to the junk yard and take a pair of side cuts and snip off a light socket and wire it up to your harness.thats the cheapest way.

The part should cost $2 off ebay or a salvage yard, and it will take 15 minutes to solder it in.

EASY FIX!!!

from the dealer, about $60. Try a junk yard and see if you can get one for WAY cheaper.
