While I believe there are many natural climate and/or geological events that could theoretically wipe out life on earth, I also believe that the activities of any species living on this earth (including mankind) cannot impact the earth (short of global nuculear war) enough to cause any of those events. I rank the theory of human caused global warming right up there with the old theory that white races are inherently smarter than the black races (which was a widely held belief system for decades earlier in the century). Both are agenda based theories that a lot of people have bought into and have tried to "prove" scientifically in order to give their pet theories validity. Look closer and you will find the underlying agendas. The white superiority complex theory was an attempt to suppress the black races (shameful) and the global warming freaks you will find are most likely capitalism hating socialist/communist bent on destroying the free market system on a global scale (despicable).

Worrying does not help in any way. You have only touched upon two theories related to possible damage and destruction/annihilation. There are countless other annihilation theories. So, let's live, fully and gloriously, in the present moment, because everything happens or even happened only in the "now."
"The moment in hand is the only thing we really own." - Quoted from Late Sir (my Sir!) John Denver, American folk singer of old world fame...

You know, something ironic always happens to those who stand on a soap box and scream until at least one person stops to listen. What I'm referring to is, Al Gorf's global seminar in the north east yesterday was canceled......and for what......frigid weather. Imagine....a global warming seminar, set up to expose our destruction of the world to the point that we all are going to fry like little sausages in a pan and it gets canceled due to frigid temperatures. I thought the whole idea behind "Global Warming" was that it is supposed to get hotter not colder. Gorf goofed again!

Yep, dude. There r dissimilar signs and indications exhibiting us that international warming is affecting us very much. We should not be completely afraid and all radical about it, yet we ought to continually a minimum of attempt to guard power and help the ecosystem through this troublesome time. i'm hoping this helps you including your project! Where are your sources for this? From my research on the subject, magnetic pole reversal has happened many times in the past and solar radiation hasn't killed all life forms. (How could we be here otherwise?).
Just want to know where you heard this.

I wish you had not spilled the beans so soon--Al "the blob" Gore needs more time to make money off the global warming scam.
