I think it varies..the most important thing is to keep the relationship, and the sex, fresh and new..People some times have a slow sex drive because they are too focused on work or on things other than the relationship. Many men in their 40s still wake up with an erection every morning and can perform a few times a day.Different strokes for different folks..But always put the relationship first and always be ready not only to try new things but to bring new things and new ideas into the bed room.

I am a biochemist, and know something about this from different angles. Basically, people are unique, so everything is possible. In general, testosterone slowly decreases as a man gets older, but it is variable. (This is true for women, too). I am 42, and I have yet to meet a woman that wanted sex more often than I did. I have calmed down since I was in my 20's, but most guys have so much more libido than most girls, that this has been a positive, and helps me focus on more than just the physical. I have had a couple of relationships with girls in their mid 20's, and one girl was fairly inhibited, while the other was much less. So it really depends on the unique situation. And there is always Viagra. Bottom line: a man's sex drive probably won't INCREASE as he gets older, but it may not decrease noticeably, either.

Yes - some of us men get a higher sex drive in our 40's some slow down. Exercise is the key though. Cause twice a day or even three times a day with a day break in there occasionally is where some of us are at.

I'm 41 and my boyfriend (that sounds SO weird) is 57. His sex drive is phenomenal. I was married before to a man who was only six years older than me and his sex drive was maybe once a week - even in the begining of our relationship.
My new guy is amazing to me and it makes me laugh sometimes that at the age he is he's STILL a once or twice a day guy and can ejaculate with orgasm twice in 20 minutes and he still gets as hard as a rock. No Viagra for him - it'd KILL me!

The saying is what i used to do all night now takes me all to do. Most often the older us guys get the younger you girls get. As you seem to bring the best out of us.Its like starting all over again with the know now & knowledge you didn't have when younger. Also there is no hope for some???They never have understood what it takes.

That is why they go through MLC. It slows down and they find some woman to prove to themselves that they "still have it." ask any marriage counselor.

They will all say, of course, that they are stallions. Do you expect any other answers?
