Philosophical logic has many forms...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logic#Philosophical_logic
but for the most part all philosophy uses logical strategies.
As for fallacies of logic see also "Ignoratio elenchi".

You can filter out "falsehoods" to be left with truth. Or like St. Thomas - come up with three arguments to a theory and answer them, then give three more arguments to those answers, etc. There's the socratic method which is kind of all over the place because you have to theorize the end result and work backwards using questions (more like debate). And I'm sure you're familiar with the scientific method.

Either way logic is very limited because it exists in a realm of absolutes; yes, no, never, always, etc. And the nature of the world simply isn't that way. I think any form of contemplation is good as long as you don't use "hasty generalizations".
Good luck!

It seems you are just confused/amazed/puzzled with the "wordings" used in logical reasoning specifically the terms of "fallacies"..as you mentioned some.

So to answer your question....you first need to be logical and I am not sure if "very logical" exist. To be logical simply means, you have facts that supports whatever your argument is.

Example of "Hasty Generalization"

a. You are a human being
b. You are handsome
Hasty Generalization. All human beings are handsome

Try to search google for "logic" or "reasoning" or search in www.thefreedictionary.com about "logic" or "fallacy" or "reasoning"......its a start.

hope it helps.

It would help if you could take classes at the Community College level. They train you how to think and what arguments make sense.
