Are there still reservations? And if so, where are they located?

Do they adapt to the ways of Americans of modern day?

Approximately, how many still live in reservations?

Hi. I am a Native woman.

There are plenty of Native people that still exist.
There are still reservations, they are located all over the U.S.

Native people have been FORCED to adopt to some of the modern ways but several Native people still hold onto their traditions.

And I can't answer the last question without looking it up.

If you have more questions about Native people feel free to email me.

As far as I know...

Yes, many/most tribes are still "allowed" to have a little piece of their own homelands that the government didn't want back in a day... They are located all over, generally around where their ancestors lived, though some were forced out onto lands they didn't even know how to thrive on. And much of it was lacking resources for them to survive well.

They are normal everyday people like the rest of us. They've done well considering what was thrown at them, what it took to hold on.

Have no idea, some tribes have only a small number of people, others have many.

The total population in the United States is around 2 million. Reservations are in several Western states, such as Arizona, Wyoming and the Dakotas. Their culture was decimated by the racism, greed and cruelty of the white people who conquered North America and pretended to establish a free society.
