This is just my opinion, as a MAN. Every time I see a women in one of these shirts, I immediately assume she is pregnant. All my guy friends agree. Ladies, does this bother you? (No Flaming please, this is a serious question)

i hate those kind of tops...they make everybody look fat and/or pregnant. especially if you have some curves. I have yet to see one on somebody that looks nice.

I love the empire shirt because it's comfortable.. kind of like a really small dress.
I don't care if guys think I'm pregnant. It's very feminine and it makes me feel good about myself. So, even if a guy didn't like it, I still wouldn't change.
There are so many reasons.

Empire shirt to cover flabby stomach, well, at least I wear it to cover up my belly when I had too much to eat and the first 10 weeks when I was pregnant (still too small for maternity clothes and too big for my regular size).

I dont think the empire shirt looks the same on everyone, i know some people who it looks really good on and doesnt make them look fat or anything me it does though so i dont wear them

one time this girl whos kind of fat was wearing one, and my friend was like "no offense but that shirt makes you look like you're pregnant" and then the girl got all mad at her because she thought she was calling her fat.
i would never wear one. unless i was pregnant. haha

A woman will wear what she wants to wear; you have no say so just shut your face. There are plenty of unflattering things I've seen guys wear, but I'm not gonna write about it on Yahoo! Answers. And guess what? the women you see wearing those shirts are not at all wearing them to impress you so deal with it dear.

MOST WEAR THEM B/C THEY ARE COMFORTABLE HOWEVER SOME GIRLS SHOULD NOT WEAR THEM B/C IF THEY ARE BIGGER THEY ARE LOOK PREGNANT WHEN THEY ARE NOT (THAT'S WHY I DON'T WHERE THEM) LOL.. I HAVE ALSO SEEN SOME GIRL WHO ARE SMALLER THAT I THINK THAT WHEN I SEE THEM WEARING THE SHIRTS BUT I REALIZE WHAT I AM THINKING AND FIGURE THEY ARE WEARING FOR COMFORT AND STYLE.

I myself agree with you but some of my friends LOVE them and it suppose to be very flattering. It covers up a round tummy.
