I find being corrected helpful. Since there is so much I don't know, I'm usually happy to be put right.
By the way, "yourself" is one word.

Depends on whether or not I feel that person used polite words. Perhaps I might even thank him or her.
No, if (s)he made a bet with me and I had to be correct to win.
No, if you mean I am on a game show and I lose money or my prize when the host tells me the correct answer (not the one I guessed).
Would I feel mad? Maybe a little, but I would try my best not to show it.

I correct people all the time! I don't like to think of my friends saying something stupid or using the wrong word in front of other people. I don't mind being corrected myself though.

If it's being corrected for the better, I thank them. I'd rather thank them then be left saying or thinking the wrong thing.

I am glad if somebody corrects me because that means I won't continue thinking something that was false. but most people don't like it because that means admitting they were wrong

yes. I feel happy if they are my teachers or parents. But if they are strangers I will be irritated. But still try to be cool.

"Or thank them" is not a sentence. Sentences should begin with a capital letter and "your self" should be "yourself". Why do you start a sentence with "or"?
