Think about what your current position offers to the company. What kind of an impact does your position provide? Are you the first voice a customer hears? Are the first impression of the company? If you're the receptionist, I'm sure you do alot of customer service, first impression type of work. Let them know that in the next 6 months you plan on continue doing receptionist work, providing the best customer service possible and representing the company by making a great first impression for the consumer...something like that. :)

I would say to maintain my position as a receptionist with a professional corporation that values hard working employees.

Are you wanting to eventually move up in the company to another position? Are you just using the company as a source of income while in school? More information please!
