I hear you!!! The same problem is here in the US. We are more concerned for the people in other countries but we don't stop and see how many homeless people that are here, or parents adopt kids from overseas, but they don't stop to think about the kids that are for one reason or another orphans her in the US...Our government needs to stop and think, and the celebrities need to stop and think about what they are saying, that the people in other countries are more important that the poor people in our own country? That the lives in other countries are more worth saving than the ones in our own? What kind of message is that?

I have to agree with you. I live in the USA and we have tons and tons of children that don't get enough to eat everyday. Live in poor conditions are left to fend for themselves. But still everyday I see the feed the children ads on tv. How about feed our own first then we can help out others. I try to help with what I can as far as donating food to homeless shelters and give clothes as well. It is a terrible thing to see a child in need be it here or anywhere.

so how do you propose we do that? the governments of developed countries have the means to help both and who do you consider to be most in need? considering the scale of help needed its the children of the developed world such as the UK that get the most help.

because the children in Africa are dying the children in our country are mealy unhappy.
having said that i do think we should focus on our own country's issues as well.
