Will fire momentarily but not continue to run. Repeated trying and feathering accelerator usually will finally start.....when does finally start acts flooded then smooths out.

Try your mass air flow sensor. That car is fuel injected and does not have a choke. Hope I have been helpful.

chaeck your plugs and dist.cap and button sounds likeyou are getting weak fire if it is hard to start and flooding out that car is fuel inj. so no choke and you should not have to give it any throttle when starting good luck

also check the injectors..they stay under pressure when not running and a small leak floods it fast...60 lbs of pressure..also remember its 13 years old.when was it tuned? may need wires plugs and other regular maintance stuff.
