Can you help me in instalation of DotNetNuke? It is giving error...?

Hey You all greate people.
I am installing DotNetNuke in my PC with WindowXP Professional.

1- When I installed it give error about the connection... I deleted Connection string for the SQlServer2005 because I have SQLServer2000 and Left 2000 Connection String. Now it is giving error
"Null Reference of Object...."

I followes ebooks "Wrox Professional DotnetNuke ASP Dot Net Portals" for installation and practice.

Please help me to practice on this topic...... I spend hole to solve my problem but now I am thinking that it is beyond of my knowledge. It can be solve by you greate Programmmers.

Null Reference of Object is often times the sign that an object that it was expecting to find in the database was not found. I would say remove whatever is installed of DotNetNuke and start it from scratch and see if it takes.
