Caffeine does for me too. But the official word is:
The cause of minor eyelid twitching is unknown. A slight spasm of the lower eyelid or even both eyelids is common and of no concern. Warm soaks may help. Can be treated with medications, biofeedback, injection of botulinum and surgery, which I don't think you want right now.
P.S. It has a cool name: blepharospasm.

I've had something like this a few times before, it is caused by a nerve flickering, and with me, is usually when I am tired. It is more annoying than anything else, and does eventually stop. As long as it goes away, and it is not affecting your vision, then you should be okay to do nothing. You could try taking an antihistamine to see if it is hayfever connected. I use piriton which you can buy over the counter at boots.

This happens to me when I am tired or stressed out. Try to do something relaxing, and get some sleep. Also, stay away from the computer for a little while. I feel for you...when your eye twitches it is very annoying!

This is most very likely due to stress. Take frequent breaks from reading and close up computer use.

"Old wives' tales" say you are going to see someone new very soon who will become important in your life. Or, you got a tumour. I wouldn't worry............:-)
