Good triumphs over evil. Usurping power is bad and will be punished. Or, that Richard the Third's line is bad, and the current (at the time) Tudor Dynasty is good.

Shakespeare wrote on many layers. And the central point is debated by people (PhDs have been written on it, how sad).

I go with good triumphs over evil, but then you can elaborate into what is good, and what is evil. The play says that Richard is evil because he stole power, killed people, was deformed (people were still very superstitious) etc.

It could thus be propaganda for the others, who historically really did steal power from Richard by force.

power at any expenses. richard destroys his own family (brothers, wife, nephews, etc...) to gain the crown. he allowed none to stand in is way.
