The keys are locked in the car and it is running. The car is a 2003 Mustang. How can I get it unlocked without breaking out the window? I've done the coat hanger but it wont go into the door frame.By the way I do have someone coming who I will have to pay to do this.

The person who is coming to help has the best answer for that. Hopefully they won't do the coat hanger thing (but I think it might be the only way).....but they have a better device for that that hopefully won't hurt your 'stang.
Good Luck and stay warm

Where I live, you can call the fire department (yeah, really). They send a truck out with tools and they can get into the car. I work at a large apartment complex and I see this done like once a month. I don't know if they charge for the service, but they do it often, and I've never heard of anyone paying.

SOLVED! call the fire department. they have slim jims and love to feel important. just make sure to call them directly, not thru 9-1-1. example: "is this the whatever city fire department? of thank god, i didnt know who else to call! im late for the airport and i figured if anyone could help me, you guys could"
