I'd use a wet-dry vac on that and then clean the area up. Gotta be careful because if any of it is still "wet" it can damage your run-of-the-mill Hoover.

Assuming you mean a full size shop vac - I wouldn't...

1) It will power vent the aroma all over the place!
2) Most wet/vacs when assembled for wet pickup, have a pathetic filter, which is mostly just a piece of foam that you can sometimes see through. This would have the potential for atomized particles of the liquid to be vented into your home. Ecch.

I would only do this with a small wet/vac designed for this and pet mess pickup. Don't use a full size shop vac for the reasons stated above.
