A fractal is an image that is created when a mathematical formula is used to generate a simple image that will reproduce itself, using that same mathematical formula, to the point where the image looks like complicated artwork.

look here, you've got to know the name of the sets you are looking for, this is probably the most famous set (and probably the most complex)
