If it is a calcium type stone, avoid dairy products and other foods with high calcium content. But recent studies have shown that foods high in calcium, including dairy products, may help prevent calcium stones. Taking calcium in pill form, however, may increase the risk of developing stones. You may be told to avoid food with added vitamin D and certain types of antacids that have a calcium base. If you have very acidic urine, you may need to eat less meat, fish, and poultry. These foods increase the amount of acid in the urine. To prevent cystine stones, you should drink enough water each day to dilute the concentration of cystine that escapes into the urine, which may be difficult. More than a gallon of water may be needed every 24 hours, and a third of that must be drunk during the night. If you have stones that form from calcium oxalate, you need to cut back on beets, chocolate, coffee, cola, nuts, rhubarb, spinach, strawberries, tea, and wheat bran.
Most kidney stones pass through your system if you drink plenty of water- this would be 2-3 quarts a day. What you mention will not dissolve the stones.

Nothing will dissolve them usually. The biggest factor in preventing them is to drink loads of water and keep them clear of the fine crystals which are the start of stones. Don't take too much salt and moderation in all things is good

calcium can cause deposits causing stones and spurs
You need to start taking 400 mg of magnesium
I am not sure if magnesium would dissolve what you have but
it will decrease your chances of any more build up.

well it depends on what they are made out of. you should be straining your urine to catch the stones. When you see you doctor they examine the stones and see what they are made out of. Depending on what they are made of determines if you need to change your diet.

I HAVE A FRIEND THAT USED TO GET THEM PRETTY REGULARLY. THEN I READ SOMEWHERE THAT DRINKING LEMONADE EVERY DAY HELPS. (HELPS YOU NOT TO GET THEM.) SHE STARTED DOING THAT AND HASN'T HAD ONE IN ABOUT 7 MONTHS. GOOD LUCK.
