If you do not chart or monitor your fertility in any way, and you think you may have conceived, you should wait 19 days (or longer) after having sex to test. Why 19?! Sperm can live approximately 5 days in the proper environment; if the sperm managed to live until you popped an egg, the actual conception could have taken place several days after the sex act that got the sperm there. To make sure you're not testing too early, assume the sperm had very long lives (5 days is considered a very long sperm life) and that conception occurred then. Then allow 14 days for the embryo to implant and develop enough hCG to show up on a pregnancy test (96% of pregnant women will test positive by then.)

You can test now, they are supposed to work 4 days before your period is due. However you are more likely to get a false negative testing this early. I would leave it a few more days. Mine was still negative until 5 days after my missed period was due and for some people it takes even longer. Good luck!

Ok first try to calm down.... I think that you should go ahead and take a test, call a doctor,or go to a clinic! That is the only way you are going to truly know!! But, remember that whether you are or are not pregnant, all the stress you are putting on yourself is not good!! Try to stay calm until you find out for sure!
Good Luck!

If you are due today, I'd wait until atleast tomorrow to test, since your period would be late, you should be able to get an accurate reading. I know some people have said wait a week or two, but if you just can't wait, you should be ok to test tomorrow.

in the adventure that they weren't precise labs will be close down through many inspection businesses. Sorry dude, there are soooo many controls to substantiate each and everything is precise that is not any longer even humorous. So my answer is certain they are ninety 9.9% precise and if that is not any longer precise that is because of uncommon human mistakes, no longer the sorting out kit.
