Hi all its me again unfortunately! Sorry for posting bout stuff regularly but its the only place i can get things off my chest without people having a go. Anyway ive got a works do coming up shortly but i do find that when i go with the new girls they get all the attention off all the lads and i get left out alittle. I am a fun person and am not that unapproachable to talk to. I always get stuck with the oldies!
The thing is i like talking to the lads and i get on fine with them in work yet on workdos they are completely drooling over these girls. I just feel as theres only 3 younger girls in my department ie me and the two newbies it makes me feel like im not interesting or not as pretty.
Is there anything i can do to rectify the problem

It's not always easy to stand out in a crowd especially if you are not an attention seeker and, excuse the comment, possibly not the better looking of the group. I am just presuming because that is how guys tend to be.
Maybe dress a little more eye-catching, but not like a ****. New perfume?
Find out what some of the people are interested in beforehand so you have things to bring up in discussion which you know they will like.
One thing, if you have any special talents, eg music, try let people see this because being different and interesting without being weird is often what guys want.

it's unfortunate that you feel left out no one likes sitting on the side lines i dont know i guess you could just try to start a convo with the lads or get chummie with the girls so as they include you

stop worrying about thos guys. feel good about yourself, get a makeover and buy a new outift. feel confident in who you are you'll meet the guy of your dreams....besides...work flirting and dating is bad news....trust me...i've been there and even though those choices led me to where i am now...which is happy, i went through a lot of crap b/c of work "relationships"

Initiate conversation, don't wait for them to talk to you. Make the effort and talk to them and maybe they will see you in a different light.
