Is there a free website to rid adware from a Smiley Central site I downloaded?

Ever since i did that my computer is acting weird. Are there any free sites to undo it? I tried ADD/REMOVE to no avail.

Following on from your Additional Information you need to uninstall this programme as it isn't necessarily a virus, it's just a pain in the ****.

You need to go to your add/remove programmes and remove a prog called My Web Search (Smiley Central). Also remove anything named "My Way" from your computer.

Also search with windows search (start>search), and type in My Way. Delete any My Way files.

Once you have removed this I recommend you reboot, download and run this programme:

Then run adaware, which you can find here:

Next, open My Computer, Drive C, and double-click on the Program Files folder

Right-click and delete the folders for:

FunWebProducts

MyWebSearch

This may or may not fully remove this programme. From what I have read it seems to be a beatch to remove. There may be some left overs in your registry. I suggest you get yourself a simple, not to obtrusive, registry cleaner

I easily have a toshiba workstation with AVG anti virus and anti secret agent ware , i actually have spybot s&d , secret agent ware blaster and ccleaner . you want more than a number of anti secret agent ware to save the trojans out , also a sturdy firewall ,I easily have Comodo firewall professional , all of those classes are loose.
