Surely it depends on what you mean by ideal? They're both really good, but as with any theory/theorist in psychology, each has his own faults and criticisms.

I would say Eysenck would be a more in-depth theorist, and his work would probably focus more on personality as a theory rather than personality in relation to therapy, which is what Rogers is more famous for.

there is also Erik H. Erikson, dealing especially with the identity crisis.
