The kit should have the instructions in it. Have you tried chasing the spark hole with a tap before putting in a helicoil? If less than half of the whole was damaged the spark hole will still hold the spark plug. You may not need to put in a helicoil. I would try this first.

Man that sucks when that happens. You could try using a hele-coil but I wouldn't recommend it because your spark plugs have to seat in your cylinder head properly. Otherwise your car will run rough as hell. Have you tried just using tap and rethreading the hole? If you do this change the motor oil when you are done because all the metal shavings from using a tap or a heli coil will still be in your motor and you don't want that. If it was my vehicle I would take the cylinder head completley off and take it to a machine shop and have them do the work or get a new cylinder head altogether if you stripped out the hole really bad.

go to parts store and ask for a sparkplug thread chaser,its real,and it works
