Mine was just another day, it really sucked!

I had to laugh at how 'mom' it was. I was starting to fix a romantic Valentine's dinner for my hubby complete with red silk tablecloth and candlelight. I was getting the ingredients out of the refrigerator to make chicken marsala, rice pilaf, green beans amandine and a fabulous salad. I looked stunning and I was planning an evening of romance when suddenly I had to scap the whole plan and deal with a DOG'S NOSEBLEED.
We still had dinner -- much later than planned and sans the candlelight. My son had come home at that point.

I woke up at 3 am went to work @ 4am, stood on my feet all day, got off at 4 pm, ordered Chinese take out and went to bed at 8. Sweet dreams...

Me too got home got a card from b/f then he informed me he was watching football so i ended up going up stairs and doing an ironing and watching the brit awards so just another typical day for me.
(Needless to say I was feeling v sorry for myself) Boo Hoo

ordinary to say the least ( i couldn't attract a fly to a piece meat )
but life goes on --- i think this hyped up American nonsense ( because that was where it was initiated in the first place --- just like Halloween ) needs to a back step --- maybe it's a fill in between Xmas and Easter !! --- it's corny --- that's my view --- and I'm entitled to it ! good luck

yeah just another day, but i stayed at my bfs, which does not usually happen on a weekday so i guess thats something. no presents tho. ah well.
