Follow the following schedule.

Do some stretching exercises to begin & 25 push ups & 25 sit ups.
1) Warm up 400m medium speed. Free style
2) Use a kick boeard & do 400 m kicks , Medly order.
3) use a pull boy & hand padles - 400m Pulls
4) Use a pair of flippers & do kick s in medly order with ane arm stroke.
5) 200 m easy free style to warm down a bit.
6) 50 m or 25 m sprints, medly order 7 repeat for 3 times.
7) Warm down 200m free

Kick board, running and steps for the legs
pull-boy and paddles for the arms

to increase your speed they make long rubber bands that hook to your waste...it provides resistance when swimming away from it and w/ someone pulling the slack out as you swim back toward the band you can increase you turnover and hence your speed...good luck

go in the ocean and get chased by a shark, that will make you want to swim faster

arms: lots of push ups, use stretch cords to practice your arm stroke, or use paddles when swimming.
legs: lots of running, jumping, use kickboards.

sit ups help your stomach muscles, which helps if your main stroke is butterfly.

swimming......do more laps. Swimming is one of the BEST
exercises. You want to improve.......swim more.
