I take my car to the shop for one problem, the guy checks it out and does a complete inspection of my car and repairs those problems too. He says its covered by warranty, and the total cost covered was almost $3,000 worth of repairs. He only charges me for what I brought the car in for - only $100.

I also get a call back from him the day after I pick up the car. He says I picked up the car after he got off work and he wanted to see how everything was doing and he was checking up on me.

Does he sound interested?

First of all if it is covered by warranty he should not charge you the $3,000 the work is covered by the warranty. So it sounds like he is trying to impress you. Good luck!!!!

Hi,
First thing in the car industry is to get more customers and keep their existing customers with them. The second is that your car has a warranty for the replacement of the specified parts. They will charge you only on the things that are not a part of warranty and will put some tax as whic you told for 100$. The third is that why he called you back is, He wants to know whether you are satisfied completely with the service and they have a feedback directly from the manufacturer to you so when a feedback comes to you if you give them a low grade then their service centres will be in problem. so they keep calling you inorder to withstand in business which inturn is a customer satisfaction and impression.

It sounds like he was doing his job. Follow-up calls and checking for outstanding warranty repairs is par for the course.

You should have checked on that in person. No I don't think he is interested. Just wants you to know if the service was acceptable.
