He had no problem denouncing Israel last summer, but doesn't say a word about Iran's nuclear program nor does he publicly agree with Bush's contention that Iranians are supplying weapons that kill American soldiers and Iraqi security forces and civilians.
Instead, he hops on a plane last year, flies to Tehran, were he is welcomed with a kiss on both cheeks from Iran's president.
Nice, eh?

Israel's actions have NOTHING to do with my question. In fact, I could say that al-Maliki was correct to speak out against Israel but is wrong not to voice his opinion (one way or another) about Iran's nuclear ambitions and whether or not they are supplying weapons to insurgents and/or terrorists inside of Iraq.
Certainly if al-Maliki can tell the press that he is outraged about Israel, he can be equally candid about the destabilizing impact of adding a nuclear nation into the middle east, or a nation that provides weapons that are being used to kill Iraqis -- the people he is supposed to protect!
