does the ps3 have better graphics than the xbox 360? if not will it in the future?

Blue Ray is just the format of the Disc. The Disc itself has nothing to do with the games graphic quality. Its just like saying: The story of Harry Potter is better and more surprising if you read it on glossy paper than standard book paper.

I've had no problems with the graphics on the 360, but as I don't own a PS3, I can't really provide a comparison.
However, with the PS3's lower amount of RAM it's at a disadvantage for "on the fly" graphic processing. So, developers can't even really make use of higher quality textures or changing environments, which would affect interaction with an environment in general. As a result, the PS3 will most likely use pre-rendered HD video for it's graphics.
Of course, that's just speculation based on the system's hardware.

The PS3 has totally better graphics than the Xbox 360 and if you don't believe me, then check this website out for a super sharp picture from Final Fantasy XIII(13) for the ps3:

XBOX 360 is better graphics.
Sure the PS3 comes with blue ray and ability to do lots of things with a 64 bit engine but the graphics still are behind.
Sony produce good hardware but are always one step behind,,,

BUT rgames are usually made for both systems. Also the higher graphic games, utilizing the full potential of the technology in the PS3 probably wont be seen for another few years, and they'll be PS3 exclusive titles.
But xbox has Halo 3 :)

The PS3 has slightly better graphics but only a professional can figure out the difference . Overall The XboX360 is a much better option because it has more Game Titles , its cheaper and its available in the market easily .The one thing I like about the PS3 though is the SIXAXIS remote . I Mean its SEXY !!

ps3, if you have a HD tv the blueray disk's make the picutre so clear and sharp...
